A few weeks ago my entire met up in Hot Springs, Arkansas for a week of vacation. We chose Hot Springs because it was about the most central location we could find. We rented a house that was on a lake. We had a great time. It was super hot down there though. Mid 90's and humid. I kept complaining and my brother from Texas thought it felt pretty good. I guess they are used to the heat. I kept saying we had barely been in the 80's in Illinois. Well apparently the heat followed us home because we came home to 90's and humid here.
We had about a 9 hour drive and we weren't quite sure how Kaelynn would handle being in the car that long. So we decided to drive at night. We left around 9 on Sat night and drove till about 3:30 in the morning. We got a hotel and luckily Kaelynn let us sleep till about 9 in the morning. We had about 3.5 hours left to drive on Sunday so it wasn't too bad. We did the same thing coming back except we drove all the way and got home at about 5 am. Kaelynn slept the whole time but decided it was morning when we got home. That wasn't fun but it actually worked out pretty well. It was better then having a baby cry for 9 hours!!
It was fun to see watch Kaelynn and Becket play. Last time they saw each other they didn't even seem to notice each other. This time was different. I think Becket thought Kaelynn was a doll because her wanted to pet her and poke her eyes and grab her. They also both always wanted whatever toy the other one her. They didn't fight over anything but they would sit there and keep taking things out of each other's hands.

This is what Kaelynn did pretty much every time anybody tried to hold her other then me. She wasn't even liking her father too much this week.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Kaelynn. Isn't she sweet? This was her first time playing piano. I think she has some potential!!
I was glad we brought this play table because both babies loved playing with it! It was pretty much impossible to get them both to look at the camera and smile at the same time!

Kaelynn and Becket performing a duet!! If you look closely at Becket's eye he does have a black eye. Alan and Shannon left him in the care of his grandparents and aunt and uncle and about 5 minutes after they left he fell on a toy and got a black eye. Poppa thought we should try to cover it with makeup so his parents wouldn't know when they got back!!
Kaelynn is studying Becket's toy and trying to figure out how to get it!!
