We went to Kaelynn's 9 month appointment this past week. Luckily there were no shots this time so that was nice. They did prick her toe to get some blood to test her iron and some other things. She weighed 19 pounds, 3 ounces (50th percentile) and was 28.75 inches tall (85th percentile). So she is still long and skinny. I was a little worried about her eating since she has no interest in table food. She usually throws up if I try to put something in her mouth other then baby food on a spoon. The doctor said not to worry as long as she is getting enough formula each day she is getting what she needs. He said she will come around to food. We talked about her throwing up since she does that all the time and he said it sounds like she just has a really good gag reflex. If she doesn't like something she will just throw it up. When she is sick and has a lot of drainage she throws up a lot too. It makes life interesting!
Kaelynn is crawling really well now. She is getting more and more adventurous. We need to get some gates up soon. She is starting to try to climb the stairs. She also has no fear. She will crawl right to the edge of the steps or the bed or couch and just keep going. I think she thinks it is a game because we always catch her. It keeps us on our toes. She pulls herself up pretty good and is starting to "walk" along the couch or around objects that she is holding onto. I think it will be a while yet before she walks though.
There are no teeth yet but we are expecting them any day. She has been waking up a lot at night and staying up late and is fussy during the day this past week. We think it is her teeth bothering her. The doctor said they were "right there" so they should be coming through any day now.
Here are some pictures I took shortly after we moved to the new house...

Kaelynn has some really cute outfits with matching hats but she never leaves the hats on very long!

Here she with her walker. She hasn't quite figured out how to walk behind it but I am sure that will be soon!!
