I never did get around to writing about my time in Houston. I had a great time while I was there - the travel was the hard part. It was so funny watching Kaelynn and Becket together. Whatever one had the other absolutely had to have. It had to be fun if the other one was so interested. I thought I would trick them when I saw two coasters that were the same. Nope, that didn't work. Since they both have two hands they both wanted both coasters!! If I had four it might have worked. I think they did enjoy each other because they would follow each other around. Kaelynn would crawl and Becket would walk. He is so funny. He walks but he isn't too steady. He doesn't care though and tries to take off like he can run. He looked like he had a little too much to drink because he would lean one way and then the other and eventually fall down. He seemed to have learned how to fall though because he never got hurt (unless he hit something) and would bounce back up and keep going.
Becket's birthday was a lot of fun. Becket absolutely loved his cake. He dug in with both hands. It was so funny. I didn't get any pictures because I was holding Kaelynn while she "ate" a cupcake. She wasn't too interested. She didn't eat any of it but she did play with it for a while. Here are some pictures from my weekend in Houston.
Here is Becket with some of his birthday presents that arrived in the mail the day before his birthday.

So serious!

He loved the bubble wrap!

Becket and Kaelynn taking a bubble bath together. Notice that there are no bubbles around Becket. That was because he was constantly moving around playing. Kaelynn was mesmerized by the bubbles and just sat there staring at them!

Becket opening one of his first gifts while Kaelynn looked on.

Becket getting ready for cake!

Kaelynn playing the balloons the day after the party.

Kaelynn doing a puzzle with Nonna.

Becket got a wagon for his birthday and he and Kaelynn both enjoyed it. Here they are sitting in it before the wheels were on!

Nonna brought suckers for the babies. Becket loved his. Kaelynn threw up after we tried to get her to eat one.

Nonna braved the heat and humidity to give the babies a ride outside. They both cried when we took them out of the wagon!
