On Friday I went to work for the first time. Sean stayed home with Kaelynn. I was really nervous about going but it actually went very well. I think I enjoyed the break because I have barely left Kaelynn's side since she was born. I realized that I have a hard time getting things done at home because I get interrupted all the time. I usually have somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes to get things done. Kaelynn rarely takes a nap that is an hour or more. Most of her naps are around a half hour. Between taking a shower, eating meals, doing laundry and other day to day things, my days are full. I try to keep the house clean but it is never as clean as I want. I have a hard time keeping up with bills and things like that. Then there are the birth announcements that I ordered almost two months ago that I haven't had time to send. Being at work was nice because I didn't have to worry about Kaelynn needing me. I think Sean did pretty good at home with her. My biggest worry was feeding her because she doesn't do real well with bottles. He got her to take one in the morning and then I came home to feed her at lunch time and he gave her another in the afternoon. I don't think she liked the bottle but Sean was able to get her to take it.
For the month of December I am going to work two days a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. Sean will stay home on Fridays and we are going to take Kaelynn to daycare on Tuesdays. So Tuesday will be her first day of daycare. I am nervous about that, but I went to visit last week and talked to them about some things so I feel a little better. They said that a lot of nursing moms come by to feed the babies once a day (or more) so I am going to still try to go feed her at lunch time. I am sure that will make me feel better getting to see her during the day.
Finally on Saturday we took Kaelynn to visit Santa for the first time. He was at State Farm. She did good but she was really tired so we couldn't get her to smile for a picture. It was kind of neat because they had a lot of things set up that you could use for pictures. We got some cute ones.

We went to see Santa too. Afterwards, we went into one of the rooms set-up and Christian was purposefully jumping in front of another family trying to be in the picture. Grrrr...
