New Ultrasound

We had another ultrasound last Friday. My parents were able to make it up to go to the appointment with me. They had never seen an ultrasound before. I think they enjoyed it. Baby Roethle was moving around quite a bit and we were able to confirm that she is still a she. I was getting a little worried when people keep telling me they thought they were having a girl and ended up with a boy! The tech was positive it was a girl though. The baby was showing off her flexibility (which she certainly didn't get from me) by having her legs up by her head. I have a cute picture I will try to post if I can get it scanned. They estimated the baby weight at about 2.4 pounds right now (or last Friday - she has probably grown since then). We are still on track with the due date. I think they estimated the due date at September 19th which is close enough. Everything looked good. I don’t know when or if we will have another ultrasound. I am guessing when we get closer to the due date unless there is something the doctor decides she needs to see.

My parents hung around all weekend. We had a good time although we didn't do too much. It was a relaxing weekend. I think Sean and I did pick out paint colors for the baby's room. I also worked on cleaning out one of the closets in the baby's room and hung up about 2/3rds of the cloths that we have so far. I had to stop because I ran out of room! Sean is going to hang another shelf so we can hang two levels of cloths in the closet. I think Baby Roethle might have more cloths then her parents . She also probably has more shoes then I do. I need to take some pictures of the cloths and shoes. We are so appreciative to Sean's sister for passing all of these cloths and shoes down!! Most of them look brand new (some of them are with tags still on them). She will be a well dressed baby, that's for sure!
