We are still here!!!

Sorry I haven't posted since May!  I have started several posts and never finished.  I hope this one makes it!  I keep thinking I need to catch up on everything that happened since May but that isn't going to happen.  My memory just isn't that good.  Maybe I will eventually get some pictures posted but no promises!

So Kaelynn turned 2 last September.  She is doing great except for the fact that she pretty much has a constant cold, she refuses to nap most days and is learning to assert her independence.  Being a parent of a 2 year old is quite the adventure.  Just today I took her to the doctor (another ear infection).  When we got home she got mad at me for getting her out of the car (she wanted to do it herself).  So she got herself so worked up she threw up in the kitchen and got it on her favorite baby.  So I cleaned the baby up and she was still upset about the baby.  So I got her a towel and wrapped her up and gave her to Kaelynn to hold.  Then she was mad because that was Kaelynn's towel.  So I had to go get another towel.  I can't remember what she got upset about next but I finally lost it and yelled at her that it was enough.  So then she was upset because she got yelled at.  All during this time I was trying to get Kaelynn's lunch together because I knew she was hungry and that is probably what caused the meltdown in the first place.  So she finally ate and everything was good again.  We have episodes like that almost daily.  You never know what will set her off.

In other news most of you probably already know this but we are expecting our 2nd child in June.  He or she is due on June 22nd.  I am almost 19 weeks along.  That means we get to go for our ultrasound next week to find out the gender.  I am so excited to know.  Part of me wants a girl because we have so much girl stuff and I would love to get to use it again.  A boy would be great though too.  However I told Sean if we have a boy we have to get rid of some stuff.  We have a house full of toys and there is no room for trains and cars and whatever else little boys play with!  We also probably have 20 tubs of girl clothing already so I don't know what we would do with boy stuff!  The other problem we have is that we have a pink carseat, pink exersaucer, pink bouncy seat, and lots of other pink stuff.  You just can't put a boy in pink but those are all expensive things.  So we are anxious to find out so we know how much we have to buy!

This pregnancy has been a lot harder then the last one.  I think the main reason for that is that I now have a 2 year old to chase around.  It is very difficult to get naps when I want them.  I do go to bed pretty much as soon as Kaelynn does which is usually around 8:30 or 9:00 and it still doesn't seem like enough sleep.  I have been sick to my stomach quite a bit too.  It is mostly in the morning but I feel sick pretty much all day.  They say you get over it after the first trimester but I am 19 weeks and still waiting to feel better.  I have actually lost weight so far.  That is probably a good thing though because I know I gained quite a bit last time in the 3rd trimester and I never lost it all.

I do have some recent pics of Kaelynn ready to post but they are on a different computer.  I will try to post them soon!
