Last week Kaelynn and I went for a walk. I got the stroller out and everythign ready and she wouldn't get it. So I pretended I was leaving her and she started following me. The next thing I knew we had walked all the way to the park. It is probably about a half mile from my house. It took forever of course. The funny thing is that I wanted to get some exercise and I had to go so slow waiting on her it wasn't much of a work out. I did make her ride in the stroller on the way home!
Kaelynn also fell down the steps for the first time the other night. I went up to start her bath. She was taking forever (and I am tired of carrying her all the time) so I went on up. Sean was in the living room but he wasn't paying attention (he thought I had carried Kaelynn up). Next thing I know I hear a thump, thump, thump. I ran to the steps and saw her laying at the bottom. Neither of us saw her fall so we don't know how far she went. I don't think she was more then halfway up though. Luckily she seemed OK, just scared. I can't wait till she gets a little better on the steps because it is getting hard to carry her all the time! I have been letting her go up and down on her own more lately but after the fall I will probably watch her more closely.
I should have taken pictures but they are building a house in the lot next door to us. Yesterday they poured the concrete in the basement. Kaelynn and I spent all day looking out the window! It was actually very interesting to watch and she got to see lots of "Choo-choo's"!!!
She has another cold right now. She is all congested and coughing a lot. I think I mgiht be getting it too. It is so nice of her to share. So far no fever. We will watch her closely the next few days because she has a tendency to get ear infections when she gets this congested. Hopefully it won't happen this time though.
Here are some more pictrues...
Here is Kaelynn first in line for a for the Easter egg hunt! She really had no idea what was going on. Once I showed her she got excited. She was more excited to play at the play gound equipment next to the field!
We were getting ready for bed one night and I was able to get Kaelynn's hair completely up in one ponytail. It was so cute!
Kaelynn helps me sort laundry. Once I get the piles sorted she puts the clothes in the basket. One day while she was putting clothes in the basket she came across some pants that she decide she needed to wear. She came walking out like this. She is so funny sometimes!!
The pics below are from another day at the park.
I stuck my head in the slide (it was a tube) and Kaelynn told me to get out!
Here she is saying bye before she went down the slide.
